Beaumont

Beaumont is a town in Leduc County inside the Edmonton Metropolitan Region of Alberta, Canada. It is situated at the convergence of Highway 625 and Highway 814, 3.2 kilometers 2.0 mi south of the City of Edmonton and 6.0 kilometers 3.7 mi upper east of the City of Leduc. The Nisku Industrial Park and the Edmonton International Airport are found 4.0 kilometers 2.5 mi toward the west and 8.0 kilometers 5.0 mi toward the southwest individually.

Initially a French cultivating network, Beaumont is presently a town with 18,320 individuals. Its downtown center takes after a French town with novel engineering and red block walkways. It is named for the "wonderful slope" on which St. Crucial Church, worked in 1919, is situated inside the focal point of the town. The name was chosen in 1895 as a major aspect of a request for a mail station. Beaumont is home to the Beaumont Blues and Roots Festival BBRF. Past entertainers at the BBRF have included Chantal Kreviazuk, Raine Maida, Corb Lund, Fred Penner, Matt Andersen, Sloan, Powder Blues Band, Sheepdogs.
