Wuustwezel is a municipality located within the north of the Belgian province of Antwerp. The municipality as it's far now originated in 1977, while Wuustwezel merged with the municipality of Loenhout . It now consists of 3 important villages, Wuustwezel right, Gooreind and Loenhout, and two minor hamlets, Braken and Sterbos. On January 1, 2006 Wuustwezel had a total population of 18,338; in 2005 there have been eight,238 citizens in Wuustwezel, 6,340 in Gooreind and three,603 in Loenhout. There have been also 1,039 citizens with a non-Belgian nationality. The general region is 89.43 km² which offers it a populace density of 205 population according to km².
