Sint-Amands

Sint-Amands is a town and a former municipality located inside the Belgian province of Antwerp, Belgium. The municipality accommodates the towns of Lippelo, Oppuurs and Sint-Amands right. On January 1, 2006 Sint-Amands had a total populace of seven,781. The general vicinity is 15.Fifty eight km² which offers a populace density of 500 inhabitants according to km². Sint-Amands is located at the right bank of the Scheldt river. Effective 1 January 2019, Puurs and Sint-Amands were merged into the new municipality of Puurs-Sint-Amands.

The Dendermonde-Puurs Steam Railway is a history railroad that links up Puurs and Dendermonde. The protection road that runs along serves as a bicycle track. Bikers can depart the song in Sint-Amands and follow the scenic direction up North at the banks of the river Scheldt. Various fashions and mill preparations can be determined in the museum. The museum also homes books, reference works, photographs, magazines, newspaper clippings and artwork.
