Mortsel

Mortsel is a city and municipality close to the town of Antwerp located inside the Belgian province of Antwerp. The municipality most effective contains the city of Mortsel right. On January 1, 2006 Mortsel had a complete populace of 24,427 human beings. The general region is 7.78 km² which gives a population density of 3,138 inhabitants according to km². This is the highest population density of any municipality inside the Flemish Region Flanders, and second-highest to Saint-Nicolas out of doors the Brussels-Capital Region. Mortsel became the scene for one of the primary collateral harm tragedies of World War II. On April five, 1943, the Minerva vehicle factory, then used to restore Luftwaffe planes, became the goal of a large bombing raid by way of the USAAF.
