About Palace of the Shirvanshahs

The Palace of the Shirvanshahs is a 15th-century palace constructed via the Shirvanshahs and defined through UNESCO as "one of the pearls of Azerbaijan's structure". It is placed within the Inner City of Baku, Azerbaijan and, together with the Maiden Tower, bureaucracy an ensemble of historic monuments inscribed under the UNESCO World Heritage List of Historical Monuments. The complicated includes the principle constructing of the palace, Divanhane, the burial-vaults, the shah's mosque with a minaret, Seyid Yahya Bakuvi's mausoleum, south of the palace, a portal inside the east, Murad's gate, a reservoir and the remnants of a bath house. Earlier, there was an historical mosque, subsequent to the mausoleum.

There are nonetheless ruins of the tub and the lamb, belong to the west of the tomb. In the past, the palace was surrounded by means of a wall with towers and, for this reason, served because the internal stronghold of the Baku castle.
