In the end days of World War I battling separated because of Russian Civil War. Four gatherings battled for control of the region when the Russian Empire fallen. Battling each other were the Bolsheviks, Mensheviks, Armenians and Azeris. Numerous individuals were slaughtered in the battling including men from a little British power sent to anticipate Baku falling under the control of the Ottomans or the Germans.
