Feldkirch is a medieval town within the western Austrian nation of Vorarlberg at the border with Switzerland and Liechtenstein. It is the place of work of the district Feldkirch. After Dornbirn, it's miles the second one largest metropolis in Vorarlberg in terms of populace, with slightly more population than the country capital Bregenz. The westernmost point in Austria lies in Feldkirch at the river Rhine, on the northern tripoint border of Austria, Switzerland, and Liechtenstein. Feldkirch turned into the birthplace of Rheticus, and is presently the seat of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Feldkirch. From 1651–1773 and from 1856–1979, Feldkirch turned into the home of the Jesuit school Stella Matutina.
