Yarrawonga

Yarrawonga is a town in the Shire of Moira neighborhood government territory in the Australian province of Victoria. The town is arranged on the south bank of the Murray River, the fringe among Victoria and New South Wales and is found around 265 kilometers north-east of the state capital, Melbourne. Yarrawonga's twin town of Mulwala is on the opposite side of the Murray River. At the 2011 statistics, Yarrawonga had a populace of 7,057. Yarrawonga Post Office opened on 28 November 1874.

Yarrawonga is served by a standard measure branch railroad, which fans out the Melbourne-Sydney line at Benalla and ends at Oaklands in New South Wales. Yarrawonga's fundamental fascination is Lake Mulwala, framed by the damming of the Murray River, instantly downstream of Yarrawonga. The lake is a well known area for exercises, for example, sailing, kayaking and angling. There are two intersections of the Murray among Yarrawonga and Mulwala; over the weir; and an extension over Lake Mulwala.

This extension contains an abnormal curve and dunk in the center, a consequence of miscommunication between the two state governments. The Yarrawonga Football Club takes an interest in the Ovens and Murray Football League in the game of Australian guidelines football, which has created any semblance of Barry Mitchell, Joel Smith, Ben Dixon, and Tom Lonergan. Historically, one of the significant businesses in the Yarrawonga/Mulwala territory has been the explosives production line, which was built in Mulwala more than 1942– 43. It is currently worked by French organization Thales however remains an Australian Department of Defense resource.
