About Glenfield
Glenfield is a suburb of Sydney, in the territory of New South Wales, Australia. Glenfield is found 36 kilometers south-west of the Sydney focal business region, in the neighborhood government zones of the City of Campbelltown and is a piece of the Macarthur district. Glenfield was named after the property established by early frontier specialist and traveler, Charles Throsby.
As indicated by neighborhood experts and Campbell town City Library, the property was named after the Glenfield in Leicestershire, England, where Throsby was conceived and raised. A large number of the lanes in the rural area have connections to British names, for example, Canterbury Road, Cambridge Avenue and Trafalgar Street. The name was first utilized when Glenfield railroad station was worked in 1869 despite the fact that a town didn't start to create until 1881 when the primary subdivision of the enclosures were promoted.
