About Zorinsky Lake Park
Zorinsky Lake Park and Recreation Area is stop situated in West Omaha close 156th and "F" Street.In reaction to harming surges in 1964 and 1965, a few dams were developed on Papillion Creek and its tributaries for surge control. In 1984, the repository was finished, and afterward the dam structure was shut in 1989.
The Park was named after the late U.S. Congressperson Edward Zorinsky. The recreation center incorporates two play areas, a few playing fields and numerous cookout areas.
