Three nearby young men with an enthusiasm for the Badger State and lager made one of the Madison district's most famous bottling works, Wisconsin Brewing Co. Situated in Verona, the bottling works highlights gear made in Wisconsin and with Wisconsin-made materials like steel from Waunakee, blacktop from Waukesha and a honest to goodness Huppmann Brewhouse developed in Hudson.

Fermenting started in 2013 and today the bottling works offers six year-round lagers and an assortment of occasional and trial blends. Numerous Verona local people go to the distillery on Friday evenings amid the mid year when groups play on the yard.
