About Wing Luke Museum
The Wing Luke Museum of the Asian Pacific American Experience in Seattle, Washington is the main group based historical center in the United States committed only to the historical backdrop of skillet Asian Pacific Americans. Situated in the core of Seattle's Chinatown Historic District, the exhibition hall is in a notable building built in 1910 by Chinese workers. It is presently a subsidiary zone of the National Park Service. The exhibition hall's namesake, Wing Luke, was conceived close Canton, China and, at five years old, moved with his family to the U.S. He turned into the principal Asian American in the Pacific Northwest to hold chose office, winning a seat on Seattle's City Council in 1962. Before this, Luke served in the Pacific Theater in World War II.
