About Whataburger Field
Whataburger Field is a small time baseball field that is home to the Hooks, a Double-A Texas League offshoot of the Houston Astros. Finished in 2005, the much-cherished ballpark lays on what used to be the site commanded by cotton distribution centers at the seaport. It pays tribute to the site's legacy through a few of its plan traits, for example, the left-focus field scoreboard, which is surrounded by antique cotton squeezes that go back to 1920.
The 7,000-seater stadium highlights present day enhancements, including a VIP Lounge, the Driscoll Children's Hospital Fun Zone, the Stripes Kid's Park an adolescent baseball field, b-ball courts, a climbing divider, trampoline, and an aerated and cooled excitement region called the Cotton Club. An assortment of sustenance stands and diners offer everything from cleaved hamburger sandwiches to gourmet pretzels, burgers, and lagers.
