About Wharton State Forest
Wharton State Forest is the biggest state woods in the U.S. province of New Jersey. It is the biggest single tract of land in the state stop arrangement of New Jersey, incorporating roughly 122,880 sections of land of the Pinelands upper east of Hammonton. The whole woodland is situated inside Atlantic seaside pine barrens ecoregion and the New Jersey Pinelands National Reserve.
The timberland is situated in the forested watershed of the Mullica River, which depletes the focal Pinelands locale into the Great Bay. The woodland is under the locale of the New Jersey Division of Parks and Forestry. It is secured land is partitioned between Burlington, Camden, and Atlantic regions.
