About Ware Lyndon House

This house was worked in 1850 for neighborhood doctor Edward Ware. The house is named for the two men. Worked in the Italianate style, it is the main surviving home in the once to a great degree chic Athens region of Lickskillet.
In 1939, the City of Athens bought the house and widely revamped it in the 1960s. Today it is a fascinating stop for history sweethearts, filled as it is with period furniture and embellishing expressions. The house likewise has a history stay with shows respecting the first proprietors of the house and its place in Athens history.
