Virginia City Depot

The beautiful railroad was remade in 1974 and works every day, mid year visits from Virginia City to noteworthy Gold Hill and furthermore offers end of the week visits on the new stretched out course from Carson City to Virginia City utilizing exceptionally old, resplendent, open and shut traveler autos fueled by dedicated steam and legacy diesel trains. The Virginia and Truckee Railroad is the most renowned of all American Short Line railways. Development started in 1869 and in the resulting 74 years the bustling mountain railroad pulled a large number of dollars in gold and silver mineral from the mines far beneath Virginia City. Upwards of 45 trains a day left from Virginia City for Gold Hill, Silver City, Carson City and Reno where prepares, for example, the "Lighting Express" associated with the recently developed cross-country railroad. The V and T was later stretched out to Minden, Nevada.
