It is a historical center and stop committed to instructing general society about the way of life of south focal Louisiana. Sitting on 23 sections of land along the banks of the Bayou Vermillion, the recreation center spotlights on Acadian, Creole, and Native American societies in the vicinity of 1765 and 1890.
