The stadium is named after Johnny Vaught and Judge William Hemingway. Since its development in 2016, it is the biggest stadium in the province of Mississippi with a limit of 64,038 and furthermore holds the state record for participation at 66,176.
The building of the stadium began in 1915 as a governmentally supported undertaking. A progression of extensions and remodels have progressively extended the stadium and modernized its pleasantries, enabling the Rebels to play the greater part of their home diversions on campus.
