About UW Madison Geology Museum
The gallery's primary endeavors are displays, effort to general society, and research. The UW– Madison Geology Museum is a geography and fossil science exhibition hall housed in Weeks Hall, in the southwest piece of the University of Wisconsin– Madison grounds. It has the second most noteworthy participation of any exhibition hall at the University of Wisconsin– Madison, surpassed just by the Chazen Museum of Art.
The gallery charges no admission.The historical center was established in the nineteenth century, and for a long time lived with the earth science divisions in Science Hall. Almost 1,000 things are in plain view in 66 displays covering 3,000 square feet . Significant segments are committed to rocks and minerals, invertebrate and fish fossils, and vertebrate fossils.
