Ulistac Natural Area

Ulistac Natural Area is a 41-section of land open space committed to the safeguarding of local Californian vegetation and untamed life. It has a few unmistakable common territories, including meadow, seaside clean, savannah, riparian forest, and wetlands; the Guadalupe River goes through the recreation center. There is a feathered creature and butterfly cultivate containing nectar plants, for example, fuchsia and monkey bloom, which pull in hummingbirds and an assortment of butterflies.

The recreation center has nature trails with interpretative signs. The place that is known for Ulistac Natural Area was at one time a regular camp for the Ohlone Indians, Ulistac was an Ohlone boss. The land has been utilized as a part of different routes: as munching land for steers and sheep in the season of Spanish and Mexican victory, as horticultural land for 19^th century Chinese pioneers, and as a fairway in the mid-twentieth century.
