Trolley Museum of New York
About Trolley Museum of New York
The Trolley Museum of New York TMNY was established in Brooklyn in 1955 to protect and grandstand a portion of the last trolley autos as yet working in New York City. Situated on the first site of the Ulster and Delaware Railroad yards at Milepost 1, TMNY investigates the rich history of rail transportation in the Hudson Valley through an assortment of shows, shows, and educational programs. The exhibition hall highlights showcases of stationary trolley and tram autos from around the globe, and guests can appreciate a fun journey ride on a trolley from Downtown Kingston to the banks of the Hudson River. Stops en route incorporate the T. R. Gallo Memorial Park and Kingston Point Park, and there are open air tables accessible close to the stream for an unwinding evening by the water. The exhibition hall is likewise home to a cutting edge Visitor's Center that highlights occasional and permanent shows, a video seeing territory, and a restoration stay with windows where guests can watch the rebuilding procedure.
