Timucuan Ecological and Historic Preserve
About Timucuan Ecological and Historic Preserve
Built up in 1988, the Timucuan Ecological and Historic Preserve involves more than 45,000 sections of land of wetlands, conduits, salt swamps and beach front hills in northeastern Duval County, including noteworthy zones, for example, Fort Caroline National Memorial and the Kingsley Plantation.
The Kingsley Plantation is situated on Fort George Island and is the most established standing manor in the state. Named after Zephaniah Kingsley, who lived there for a long time, the manor mirrors the common estate amid Florida's slave period and can be investigated on guided visits. Here you can visit with your family members and loved ones.
