Tilden Nature Area is a 740-section of land safeguard found only North of Tilden Regional Park. With more than 10 miles of climbing trails, the safeguard contains a mix of local and presented plant groups, including oak/cove forests, prairies, eucalyptus woodlands, and streams. Climbs go from the lackadaisical, independently directed Jewel Lake Nature Trail to a lively ascend Wildcat Peak height 1,211' for all-encompassing, San Francisco Bay perspectives.
A 750-foot promenade through the forested areas prompts Jewel Lake, a notable store and waterworks, and a tranquil place to watch natural life.At Tilden Nature Area one can likewise locate the prestigious Environmental Education Center EEC, central command for the zone's interpretive projects, and the noteworthy Little Farm.
