The Witch House
About The Witch House
The house is a fantastic case of seventeenth century New England engineering. Antiquarians are still in some uncertainty concerning when it was manufactured. Corwin family legend keeps up that it was worked in 1642.. Corwin is covered in the close-by Broad Street Cemetery. Regardless of gossipy tidbits despite what might be expected, no cross examinations or trials were ever directed in the Witch House. There are no reports in which a charged is requested to be conveyed to Judge Corwin's home, nor is it likely that the judge would have utilized his own home as a place to direct legitimate procedures of this nature. Cross examinations were done at either the Old Meetinghouse or Ingersall Tavern. You can visit this place with your friends and fmaily members.
