About The Once Tallest Building
In the vicinity of 1911 and 1923 Emerson Tower was the tallest working in Baltimore. Remaining at 88 meters tall and having 15 stories. It was composed by Joseph Evans Sperry and the plan was motivated by the Palazzo Vecchio in Florence, Italy. There are four clock faces close to the highest point of the pinnacle, one on each side of the building.
The building was at one time surrendered yet it is currently utilized as craftsmanship studios and has the nearby fire station arranged at the base. The building at present sits on the enroll of National Historic Places.
