About The Columbus museum
The Columbus Museum of Art is a craftsmanship historical center situated in downtown Columbus, Ohio. Framed in 1878 as the Columbus Gallery of Fine Arts, it was the principal workmanship exhibition hall to enroll its sanction with the territory of Ohio.
The gallery is devoted to gathering and displaying American and European present day workmanship and contemporary craftsmanship alongside people workmanship, glass craftsmanship, and photography. In 2011, the Museum opened The Center for Creativity, a 18,000 sq ft 1,700 m2 space that incorporates exhibitions, gathering zones, and places for workshops that enable guests to take part in hands-on exercises. In 2013, the Museum was granted the National Medal, the Nation's most astounding honor for historical centers, from the Institute of Library and Museum Services.
