About The Charlotte Museum of History
The Charlotte Museum of History comprises of a few noteworthy structures on a lush eight-section of land grounds in east Charlotte. The most seasoned of these structures is the Hezekiah Alexander House, a 5,000-square-foot shake house manufactured around 1774. The Alexander House is recorded on the National Register of Historic Places and is the most seasoned surviving house in Mecklenburg County. It includes a multiplication log kitchen, animal dwelling place, and reproduced two-story springhouse. The historical center's shows traverse three exhibitions and record the history and legacy of Charlotte and Mecklenburg from the eighteenth to twentieth hundreds of years. Guided voyages through the historical center are held day by day and uncommon visits for gatherings can be organized.
