Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum
About Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum
It was established as a feature of the National Railway Historical Society in 1960 to spare noteworthy steam trains. A changeless office for the exhibition hall was worked in 1970. This incorporated a recreated rail line that enables the gallery to run a legacy railroad. Travelers can appreciate a ride on the track through the Whiteside Tunnel.
It is also known as the Missionary Ridge Tunnel. The "Preacher Ridge Local" is a day by day administration and travelers learn much about the historical backdrop of the trains. A portion of the noteworthy steam trains incorporate the "Southern Railway 4501" and the "Baldwin 349." The historical center invites school field outings and hosts birthday parties.
