Sugarloaf Ridge State Park is a park in California, U.S.A. of Kenwood. The recreation center contains the 2,729 feet Bald Mountain and the headwaters of Sonoma Creek including a 25-foot tall occasional waterfall. The recreation center is likewise home to the volunteer-run Robert Ferguson Observatory.
Outdoors, picnicking, horseback riding, mountain biking, stargazing, angling and climbing are regular attractions of Sugarloaf. The recreation center gloats 25 miles of trails with trails going from not as much as a mile to 8.8 miles, and rise picks up achieving 2,500 feet.
Sugarloaf Ridge State Park's woodlands comprise of Douglas firs, enormous leaf maple, madrone, waterfront redwoods, California buckeye and birch trees and in addition a wealth of oaks including live, shrub, and blended oaks. Toxic substance oak and stinging weeds are found along the Sonoma Creek and can be a danger to climbers.
