Solimar Beach
About Solimar Beach
Solimar Beach is a little sandy bay sandwiched between a column of "not all that little" beachfront homes. The waves are mellow and family neighborly and the surf is useful for starting surfers. Free stopping is accessible along Old Rincon Highway; however the zone is prominent so finding a parking space might be troublesome on the ends of the week. The Beach along Old Rincon Highway is pass on my most loved spot for getting a dusk, sun-washing or taking a decent sluggish walk around the ocean. This traverse of shoreline between Emma Wood Campground and Solimar Beach is a long sandy extend with rocks toward one side and the apparently perpetual Pacific Ocean on the other.
