About Sofia
Sofia city is a small town in new mexico, upper east New Mexico, United States. It lies at 36.452°N 103.829°W, at a height of 6,220 feet. Gancho Belchev, Ivan Stoyanov, Hristo Naumov, Kosta Dimitrov, Risto Pochev and Kolyu Iliev landed in the spring of 1914 and settled the town.
The farming settlement gradually developed as the pilgrims got hitched and rented extra land. Before the finish of World War I, every one of the eight Bulgarian families possessed and developed 120 to 150 sections of land 0.49 to 0.61 km2; 0.19 to 0.23 sq mi. The most broadly developed yields were beans, however wheat, maize, millet and potatoes were additionally famous.
