Smithsonian Institution

The Smithsonian Institution is a gathering of exhibition halls and research focuses controlled by the Government of the United States. The foundation is named after its establishing benefactor, British researcher James Smithson. Originally composed as the "Joined States National Museum," that name stopped to exist as an authoritative substance in 1967.
