The Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore is comprised of sunlit shorelines, transcending rises, inland lakes, and lavish woods – the ideal background for a sensational back-to-nature excursion. The recreation center covers a 56 km long extend of Lake Michigan's eastern coastline, and in addition North and South Manitou islands. A decent place to begin your investigation is the Philip A. Hart Visitor Center where you can get maps and watch an introduction video.
