Sherwood Gardens

Sherwood Gardens are a delightful goal year-round yet going by the patio nurseries toward the finish of April or the start of May is a genuinely dream-like understanding. Envision seeing 80,000 tulips, many azaleas, develop dogwood, and blossoming fruits in full sprout, a blast of hues and aromas. This dynamite show is a yearly occasion at Sherwood Gardens.

Neighborhood oil pioneer and progressive John W. Sherwood, an enthusiastic nursery worker who planted a significant number of the develop trees and plants we can appreciate today, established the garden in the 1920's. He started by planting the tulips he brought from the Netherlands, beginning what might later turn into the most popular tulip plant in North America. Sherwood Gardens is a piece of the Guilford Residential people group and is overseen by the Guilford Association. Access to the greenery enclosures is free.
