Seattle Aquarium

The Seattle Aquarium is the ninth biggest aquarium among the main five paid guest attractions. Since our opening, we've facilitated more than 22 million guests and gave marine preservation training to more than 1.6 million school kids. We're glad to be licensed by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums. Opened in 1977, the Seattle Aquarium was possessed and worked by the City of Seattle Department of Parks and Recreation until 2010, when the philanthropic Seattle Aquarium Society accepted its administration—a model utilized by most driving zoos and aquariums the nation over. In 2007, the Aquarium opened a noteworthy extension that additional 18,000 square feet of room to the office, including a great 120,000-gallon display, a blessing shop, bistro, meeting/occasion space and the sky is the limit from there.
