About Scuola Grande di San Rocco
This noteworthy white marble building was worked in the vicinity of 1515 and 1560 to house an altruistic culture devoted to San Rocco. Not long after its fruition, the considerable sixteenth-century Venetian craftsman Tintoretto won the opposition to paint a focal board for the roof of the Sala dell'Albergo by entering the building and putting his sketch in its proposed put before the judging, much to the bothering of his adversary craftsmen.
He later enhanced its dividers and roofs with a total cycle of sketches, which are thought to be the craftsman's showstopper. You can see the roofs all the more effortlessly with one of the mirrors that are given. More works by Tintoretto are in the chancel of the neighboring church of San Rocco.
