Sacred Heart Cultural Center
About Sacred Heart Cultural Center
It is a previous Catholic Church worked in 1897 and situated in Augusta's downtown. Enrolled on the National Register of Historic Places, the striking building highlights twin towers, fifteen styles of brickwork, agile curves, ninety-four great recolored glass windows, a dashed vaulted roof, and finely cut marble sacred places. The last mass in Sacred Heart was held in 1971, and, after broad remodel, it was revived in 1987 as a social focus.
The building fills in as a great setting for social and get-togethers – workmanship presentations, dramatic creation, a mainstream Garden Festival, and choral shows. Its offices can be leased for a wide range of private and open occasions, and it is utilized constantly during the time for festivities and city capacities.
