Rundlet-May House
About Rundlet-May House
The Rundlet-May House is a memorable house historical center at 364 Middle Street in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, United States. Worked in 1807, it is an all around safeguarded case of a top of the line Federal style manor, worked for a well off trader. The house is of specific criticalness because of the survival of early documentation identified with its development. It is presently claimed by Historic New England and open occasionally for visits.
It was recorded on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976. The Rundlet-May House remains in what is currently a dominatingly neighborhood south of downtown Portsmouth, on the west side of Middle Street, a bustling north-south street. It is a three-story wood outline structure, beat by a low-pitch hip rooftop encompassed by a wooden balustrade. It is done in wooden clapboards, and has four fireplaces, symmetrically put with two on each side. Its primary veneer is five sounds wide, with an inside passageway surrounded by sidelights and a fanlight.
