Rose Tree Museum
About Rose Tree Museum
The Rose Tree Museum in the well known wild west town of Tombstone, Arizona shows a fine accumulation of memorable antiquities and materials, however the genuine fascination is the terrace flower hedge which is the biggest in the world.
Planted in 1885 with cuttings from a"Lady Banksia Rose" that had been sent from Scotland, as the tree was first pronounced the "world's biggest" in the late 1930's and has just kept on developing from that point forward.
The shelter of the shrub cum-tree now covers almost 5,000 feet of room and is lifted starting from the earliest stage a progression of wooden and steel underpins.
Every year, after the shed husks are gotten out from around the base of the tree, the plant blooms with groups of little white roses. As climate grants, guests are welcome to visit the exhibition hall and spend a lunch underneath the grand green rooftop.
