The Rondout Lighthouse is a noteworthy beacon on the Hudson River and one of three completely operational beacons that go about as navigational lights to check the passage to the Rondout Creek. One of just seven outstanding beacons on the Hudson River, the first wooden pinnacle was worked in 1867; however it was later supplanted by a block structure in 1915. The beacon is available just by vessel, which can be taken from the Hudson River Maritime Museum, and guests can investigate the beacon on intermittent open and private guided visits drove by experienced and learned visit guides who examine the historical backdrop of the beacon and the transportation business in Kingston.
