About Rio Grande Trail
Rio Grande Trail is the simplest and the most mainstream climbing and biking trail in Aspen. In the event that you have children, don't hesitate to bring them along, in light of the fact that they are certain to love it. The trail begins on Puppy Smith Road simply behind the Post Office. The 8.4-mile long trail takes you along the Roaring Fork River and takes after the Denver and Rio Grande Railroad bed. On the area from Aspen to Woody Creek, you will cross two scaffolds.
The main scaffold crosses the Roaring Fork River, and the second quick streaming Hunter Creek. The trail continues going for a few miles along the north side of the Roaring Fork River. The initial segment of the trail, which is cleared, has ious graphic signs. West of Cemetery Lane, the trail ends up earth and takes you through extremely beautiful little gulches along the stream.
