About Red Cliffs National Conservation Area
Famous among locals and visitor, the Red Cliffs National Conservation is situated St. George at the northeastern-most edge of the Mojave Desert. It is overseen by the Bureau of Land Management as a component of the National Landscape Conservation System, and was made as a major aspect of the Omnibus Public Land Management Act of 2009. The Red Cliffs National Conservation attracts many visitors every year; it is a piece of the bigger multi-jurisdictional Red Cliffs Desert Reserve, which was made in 1996 to ensure the natural surroundings and populaces of the leave tortoise and different species. Some portion of the NCA was assigned in 2009 as the Cottonwood Canyon and Red Mountain wild regions, which are a piece of the National Wilderness Preservation System.
