Raymond

The town's economy has generally been founded on logging and angling, together with a constrained measure of tourism. But as of late the town of Raymond has seen a flood of maryjane producing and horticultural occupations after the death of Initiative 502 in November 2012, which authorized the recreational utilization of weed. Raymond has grasped all parts of this lucrative, recently rising industry by inviting numerous new companies including business pot develop activities, maryjane implanted products fabricating, and retail weed stores.

Raymond was authoritatively consolidated on August 6, 1907. Raymond was named after L.V. Raymond, who was the principal postmaster in Raymond. In the early years, Raymond's business segment was based on stilts five or six feet over the tidelands and quagmires that confused the site.
