Pulgas Ridge Open Space Preserve
About Pulgas Ridge Open Space Preserve
Pulgas Ridge Open Space Preserve is an open entertainment zone in the Santa Cruz Mountains, San Mateo County in northern California. It is overseen by the Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District MROSD. The nature save covers 366 sections of land 1.48 km² with 6 miles 9.7 km of trails with height changes of around 500 feet 150 m. Trails give perspectives of San Francisco Bay and undeveloped slopes. The hold has the wellspring of Cordilleras Creek. The 293 sections of land 1.19 km² that currently include Pulgas were some time ago a tuberculosis asylum possessed by the City of San Francisco. MROSD acquired the land in 1983.
Structures were destroyed in 1985, and the vast majority of the non-local plants have been expelled, yet there are still some old holding dividers and ventures off Hassler Trail. Pulgas Ridge Open Space Preserve is open from day break to 1/2 hour after nightfall. Canines are allowed on chain, and off-rope at the vast off-rope pooch region. All trails are available to mutts, yet chain rules apply with the exception of in the separated rope territory. No bicycles or horses. Visitors come to visit this place with their friends and family members. You can also come to visit, explore and experience this place.
