The Provo City Center Temple is a sanctuary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints LDS Church on an indistinguishable site from the previous Provo Tabernacle in Provo, Utah. Finished in 2016, the sanctuary uses a significant part of the outside shell of the sanctuary all that stayed of the first working after a shoot in December 2010. The sanctuary is situated on the property where the Provo Tabernacle once stood. Truly, the sanctuary was utilized for chapel gatherings and social occasions. In the early morning of December 17, 2010, a fire was accounted for at the sanctuary where firefighters discovered smoke originating from the building.
At to start with, firefighters believed that there may be an opportunity to spare the rooftop and accordingly the outward basic honesty of the building, however at around 6:00 AM the rooftop collapsed. The Provo City Fire Department reasoned that "the most likely proximate reason for the fire is a warmth source, particularly an empowered 300-watt light, which was set excessively near burnable materials, particularly a wooden speaker fenced in area." Monson expressed that the sanctuary will "incorporate a total reclamation of the first outside," and the craftsman's version in the public statement incorporates the focal pinnacle from the first building.
