About Preservation Hall
Preservation Hall was built up in 1961 to save, propagate, and secure customary New Orleans Jazz. Arranged in the core of the French Quarter at 726 St. Subside Street, Preservation Hall presents close, acoustic New Orleans jazz shows daily including some of New Orleans' finest entertainers, displaying a melodic inheritance going back to the sources of jazz itself.
The visiting Preservation Hall Jazz Band exhibits the music of New Orleans worldwide with more than 100 visit dates every year, which have included exhibitions at Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, Bonnaroo Music, and Arts Festival, the Hollywood Bowl, the United Nations Headquarters, and Austin City Limits.To this day, individuals from all around the globe keep on visiting New Orleans to share the closeness and environment of Preservation Hall.
