About Pisgah National Forest
The Pisgah National Forest is a place where there is mile-high pinnacles, falling waterfalls, and intensely forested slants. Contained more than 500,000 sections of land, the Pisgah is essentially a hardwood backwoods with whitewater streams, waterfalls and several miles of trails. This national timberland is home of the primary tract of land acquired under the Weeks Act of 1911 which prompted the production of the national woodlands in the eastern United States.
It is likewise home of the primary school of ranger service in the United States, now saved at the Cradle of Forestry in America notable site, and gloats two of the principal assigned wild territories in the east.
