Pink Palace Museum

The Pink Palace Museum is a history and science exhibition hall and part of the Pink Palace Family of Museums. Worked in 1923, the manor in which the exhibition hall is housed was the previous habitation of Clarence Saunders, the originator of Piggly Wiggly. After budgetary misfortunes on Wall Street, he gave the manor to the city of Memphis.Originally called the Memphis Museum of Natural History and Industrial Arts, the historical center highlighted dolls, stuffed feathered creatures and creatures, and antiques identified with Memphis history. Today, the accumulation incorporates pre-Columbian antiquities, dinosaurs, fossils, Native American stoneware, and shows of Memphis history.
