Pea Ridge National Military Park is a very unique place for visiting and The recreation center ensures the site of the Battle of Pea Ridge, battled March 7 and 8, 1862. The fight was a triumph for the Union, and helped it pick up control of the essential fringe territory of Missouri. The recreation center is recognized as a standout amongst other protected Civil War combat zones. The recreation center highlights a guests focus and exhibition hall, a driving visit, the reestablished combat zones, climbing trails, a segment of the pre-war Old Telegraph/Wire Road, around 2.5 miles 4.0 km of the Trail of Tears as took after by a few individuals from the Cherokee Nation, and the reestablished Elkhorn Tavern, which was the epicenter of a significant part of the fight.
