About Payette National Forest
The Payette National Forest is a U.S. National Forest situated in focal western Idaho, in parts of Valley, Idaho, Adams, and Washington regions. The land region comprises of around 2.3 million sections of land 9,300 km2 of governmentally oversaw lands. It is circumscribed by Hells Canyon National Recreation Area and the Hells Canyon toward the west, Salmon-Challis National Forest toward the east, Boise National Forest toward the south, and the Nez Perce National Forest toward the north. The Payette National Forest is a piece of the Intermountain. It is under the ward of a woodland boss in McCall and is partitioned into five officer locale: McCall, Krassel, New Meadows, Council, and Weiser.
